Surrender & Rescue
We understand that things in life are sometimes subject to change and that caring for an animal can become stressful or even burdensome. As such, as space permits we are happy to assume the responsibility and take in snakes that are in need of a new forever home. Our surrender services offer a judgement free way to help ease some of the stress as we take on the job of vetting and finding a forever home for your beloved reptile. After evaluation, and health assessment, as long as they meet certain criteria, animals that are surrendered will be placed in our adoption program. At times hey may be added our educational programs, and potentially used as ambassador animals or become a permanent resident with the Python Addiction family.
Adoption
Our adoption services work hand in hand with our Surrender service. We treat our surrenders differently from those that we produce in that we make a special effort to make sure that surrenders are adopted primarily to individuals and families as pets only. Anyone wishing to adopt a surrender must go through our application and vetting process prior to an adoption being finalized. This ensures each animal goes to a good home. It should also be noted that we are not opposed to an adopted animal being used for breeding; this is however, not the intended purpose of the adoption program. There are adoption fees associated and may not reflect "Retail" pricing depending on multiple different factors and unique circumstances of each animal being adopted. These funds are separate and used to help keep our rescue efforts going.
